October Road Work Update
As long as the weather cooperates, resurfacing on Business 54 is expected to begin on Wednesday, October 18th. Traffic on Business 54 from just south of Route Z to the 2nd Street roundabout will be greatly affected. Annual levy rate sees no change
The City of Fulton property tax levy rate will not change for 2023 at $0.5271 per $100 of assessed valuation. City Council members approved the rate after a public hearing on August 22.
It’s the Great Pumpkin Race, Fulton
The Fulton Parks and Recreation Department is planning a new event for the year; the Great Pumpkin Race.
Missouri Public Service Comm. adds new area code
The Missouri Public Service Commission approved the addition of a new area code for the central Missouri area. The area will now have both 573 and 235 area codes.
From the Mayor’s Desk – September 2023
It is hard to believe summer is already wrapping up, and fall is just around the corner. While it’s gone by quickly, the City of Fulton and our staff have been hard at work.
12th Annual Mayor’s Cup set for October
The deadline to register a team is September 29 for $380, and the event is limited to 32 teams. The event will be held Friday, October 6 at 9:30 a.m. at Tanglewood Golf Course.
New recycling carts available
Fulton Solid Waste has recycling carts available for those interested in joining the program.
Overlay project to start in September
Fulton’s annual roadway maintenance projects will begin in August and September. Crews will overlay six streets, lay a chip sealing layer on nine roads, and micro surface a section of Business 54.
