It is hard to believe summer is already wrapping up, and fall is just around the corner. While it’s gone by quickly, the City of Fulton and our staff have been hard at work.

The deadline to register a team is September 29 for $380, and the event is limited to 32 teams. The event will be held Friday, October 6 at 9:30 a.m. at Tanglewood Golf Course.
Fulton Solid Waste has recycling carts available for those interested in joining the program.
Fulton’s annual roadway maintenance projects will begin in August and September. Crews will overlay six streets, lay a chip sealing layer on nine roads, and micro surface a section of Business 54.
April 4 is Missouri’s general election including a number of local elections. Each candidate received the opportunity to share their three primary goals and why they’re running.
Along with mayor, city council, and city attorney candidates, voters will also decide whether the city will enact an adult-use sales tax on marijuana sales.
May is National Historic Preservation Month and the Fulton Historic Preservation Commission is asking residents to help celebrate. During May, a sign will be placed in the yards of Fulton historically-designated properties. At the end of the month, the signs will be collected and stored for next year. Legends Rec-Plex has changed its staffing hours for Friday nights. On Fridays, the facility now closes at 7 p.m.
In recent meetings, the City Council voted to update Tanglewood Golf Course prices and utility gas rates to keep up with increasing costs.
