Chip sealing is a process that applies layers of asphalt binder, followed by small-crushed rock (aggregate), which is then compacted to create a durable, skid-resistant surface. Benefits include improved safety, better traction, and reduced dust, all while extending the life of the pavement. It’s also a cost-effective method, allowing us to treat more miles of roadway and maximize the lifespan of our current streets.
Thank you for your patience and understanding as we work to improve our roadways!
