As of Monday, February 3rd, our contractor has officially begun demolishing the 36 vacant residential properties that have been identified as dangerous and dilapidated in accordance with the city’s Dangerous Building Ordinance 1460-18.
This initiative represents a significant step forward in enhancing the beauty and safety of our city. A big shout-out to our Engineering and Planning and Protective Services teams for their hard work in securing Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) funds to bring this transformative project to life.
